What they say

“Our experience with Dr. Karen Barbi has been incredible. We have seen such an amazing change in our son since we started using the strategies suggested by Dr. Barbi. Her dedication and commitment to our family have been very much appreciated. We can’t believe how much has changed in such a short amount of time. She has been extremely helpful to us.”

“Dr. Anderson and her team of therapists provided highly professional services to our non-verbal autistic son for four years. Their personalized and committed intervention greatly improved the quality of our son’s life. We felt fortunate to have services from Dr. Anderson and her staff whose relentless efforts taught our son communication and self-help skills which otherwise seemed to us impossible to teach.”

HELPING HANDS
Family Behavior Support Group

Helping Hands is a new service offered by ACT which provides behavior management consultation and support to parents whose children are otherwise typically developing but have behavioral challenges. This service allows the average parent access to specialists who can answer their questions and help them address difficult behaviors such as eating, toileting, sleeping, tantrums, hitting, talking back, and homework refusal.

Helping Hands assists parents to create behavior plans and monitor behavior change in the most time-efficient and effective ways possible. After all, parents can always use a helping hand!
